Ainsworth Appoints Nancy Ayala As Compliance Officer SVP

Australia-listed slot machine maker Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd. announced the appointment of Nancy Ramirez Ayala, pictured, as senior vice president (SVP), legal counsel and group compliance officer.

Ayala explains in a press release that she has "a wealth of experience in online gaming, intellectual property rights, and game compliance."

"Her extensive legal and business knowledge base will be key to supporting the company's business goals during this growth," the manufacturer said in an update.

The statement quoted Harald Neumann, chief executive of Ainsworth, saying Ms Ayala was "clearly enthusiastic about her work in terms of legal and compliance in the gaming world."

The CEO added, "She is the right person with the right experience to protect us through the period of growth we are going through right now. We look forward to working with her as she moves into this role, and we will continue to challenge the changing and growing market we offer."

Ayala served as vice president of law at Rush Street Interactive Inc., a U.S.-based online casino and sports betting provider, before joining Ainsworth.

She has also previously worked as an auxiliary adviser and intellectual property adviser to online betting firm William Hill U.S.

Ayala is reported to have said Aynsworth has "big ambitions and a team and game to back them up."

She added: "I look forward to helping the company grow and contributing to my expertise as we navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead of us."
